The Rapid Change Tool Holders provide a method for rapid interchange of tools to speed production. The tool post incorporates a rapid change lever which operates a cam to lock the tool holders rigidly in place against a precisely machined dovetail. The tool post locks onto the slide in the T-slot and is secured by a socket head bolt on top. The tools are locked in place in the tool holders and secured by two cap screws. To position the cutting tool on center, the tall, knurled thumb nut is provided to adjust the height of the tool holder. The tool holders hold standard 3/16" square cutting tools. Can also be purchased individually.

Two types of grinding wheels are carried in stock. The general purpose wheel is a Norton 38A8OK5VBE grade. For sharpening very delicate cutters or grinding extremely small diameters, the Norton Fine wheel will do an excellent job.

The Rear Tool Post is used for cut-off and forming operations and mounted at the rear of the double tool cross slide. The cutter is rigidly mounted in an inverted position and is secured by three set screws.
